Hi Readers,

I know I haven’t posted in a while, but it’s been a whirl-wind of a month for me. More about that later, but for now I’ve been thinking. Thinking about the world, and about dreams, and about how the majority of the world seems to think they just don’t come true anymore. You know what? I agree. Dreams don’t come true for the majority of people, but you know why? Because we all stop trying. Since when is that acceptable? When did we “grow up” and decide that our childhood dreams were unrealistic? So becoming the president is hard, so the chances of being an astronaut are slim to none, so finding your one true love seems unreasonably fictitious, and yet, we do have a president, there are astronauts, and there are people right now living out their happily ever after in each other’s arms. Do you know why these people exist? Because they refused to take no for an answer. They had a goal and they never gave up. Could you imagine what we all could accomplish if we never gave up, if we just held out, if we just worked harder? I can. I can see clearly the things that I’ve let go all for the sake of “growing up”. I can see clearly all the things I’ve given up on because it seemed impossible, unmanageable, or unrealistic. I’d love to tell you all about them; about my hopes and dreams, and life aspirations. Then again – I’d much rather show you.
